In September 2020, Rare Fortune Productions returned to launch the OSO’s live performance season post lockdown. Our five short plays, presented to a socially-distanced audience, dealt with the eternal themes of connection – the dangerous, the ecstatic and the hilarious. In order to be Covid secure, we rehearsed on Zoom and then finally on Barnes Green outside the OSO Arts Centre.
These plays are all written by members of the professional Actors and Writers London group and provide short insights into all kinds of connection, ranging from new love to timeless misunderstandings via an alternative view on that iconic encounter at a provincial railway station.
This was our first return to live theatre post-lockdown – we kept our distance but, as we promised, the experience was touching.
It was great to be back.
