Rare Fortune Productions

Hello

About Us

Rare Fortune Productions was set up in 2017 by a group of theatrical creatives.  We all met at Actors and Writers London (AWL), an organisation of professional actors, directors and writers who meet regularly to present rehearsed readings of new plays.
We decided that we wanted to produce high quality and entertaining theatre and our first production – Liberty Hall – performed to sell out audiences. We continued to produce sell out shows that delighted our audiences  – they  ranged from farce to thriller with a focus on new writing but including an excursion into the world of Alan Ayckbourn’s Round and. Round the Garden.
We carried on working during the pandemic – choosing new plays, casting and rehearsing on Zoom and then finally performing to a socially-distanced real life audience between lockdowns.
Our next production is From This Day Forward
